artlog: With the Olympics coming up, I’m reminded of the Minneapolis Institute of Arts’ sports show this past spring, which included works like this photograph of a crowd at a sporting event by Martin Munkácsi. In many cases sports (and art!) seem to have become so much more about the spectacle than the athletic event (or piece of art) itself.
